Videos of the 1st day! Post author By nationalparkcompositions Post date October 8, 2023 Categories In Carlsbad Caverns The video above was filmed right inside the entrance although we didn’t end up using this location in the final video. Me trying to put my hoodie on while holding onto my violin and the phone which was attached to my ear phone cord traveling up my back and to the transmitter wrapped around my leg. Good times! We would walk 5-10 feet between locations, set everything up, wait for people to pass by, film a snippet and then pack up and move to the next spot. Hoodie on and off and heels to walking shoes was a constant thing, but it never got any easier and was totally awkward each time, haha! And on top of that we had to be QUIET the whole time (even whispering was discouraged by the Park Rangers cause noise travels so far through the caverns). There was lots of gesturing going around trying to communicate without talking. By the end of the 2 days of filming and trying to communicate without talking I felt like bursting into song at the top of my lungs just to let it all out and see what it would sound like! I’ll bet it would sound INCREDIBLE in there! Related Tags Carlsbad, Carlsbad Caverns, composer, Filming, music video, National Parks, recording, violin
